Iffley
Situated 160kms south of Normanton and 240kms north of Julia Creek, Iffley lies on both the Saxby and Norman Rivers. Iffley employs around 14 people to run this well established breeding station that is half sandy forest and half open plains. Iffley's diverse terrain means it performs well in most seasons and carries about 20,000 breeders. Well located for social purposes, the Iffley calendar includes the Saxby Roundup, Normanton Rodeo, Mount Isa Rodeo and the Croydon Poddy Dodgers Festival.
Positions include head stockman, stock men and women, cook, home tutor, gardener, machinery operators and bore runner. Nestled amongst beautiful gardens, lush lawn and social club, the station hands accommodation facilities are comfortable, air-conditioned private rooms with shared bathrooms.
