Situated on the banks of the Maranoa River, Clearwater consists of open heavily grassed downs, dryland forage crops and lightly timbered buffle grass river frontage. Clearwater has recently been added to the MDH aggregation as a depot to supply the feedlot, particularly over the summer months when sourcing background cattle form the northern properties is not possible to weather. With a total area of 30,000 acres, Clearwater has a carrying capacity of 3000 dry cattle.
